How to avoid burning out
84 percent of millennials say they have experienced burnout. Are you one of them? If yes, don’t worry, help is on the way!
Here are some tips to move from “burned out” to “on fire”:
1. Take breaks. Resting and recharging are important. Set aside relaxation time.
2. Exercise regularly. It increases your energy and productivity. And at the same time helps reduce your stress.
3. Connect with other people. Spend some time with loved ones, be more social with your coworkers and make friends with positive people.
4. Try to find some value in your work. A purpose makes it more enjoyable.
5. Sleep well. Sleep deprivation causes burning out and a list of potential health problems.
6. Take care of your diet. Avoid eating unhealthy food, minimize sugar and refined carbs to feel energized.
7. Don’t write down too much on your to-do list, and try to get little stuff out of the way.
